Mailer box packaging to ship new hire welcome kits and establish an internal brand culture.

Packaging, Brand messaging
Armis is a leading asset visibility and security company headquartered in California with a global workforce that is largely remote. Their human resources department had been using a plain black cardboard box sealed with branded packing tape to send paperwork, forms, and training information to onboard new hires.
The client had already selected a vendor for a new mailer box and provided the production specs. They requested a design featuring a corporate exterior and a welcoming interior in order to make a strong first impression. In addition to using the brand colors and the “Armis angle” derived from the logomark, the design featured copy reinforcing the message that new hires are joining a cutting-edge team passionate about cybersecurity.

To effectively engage new employees, the welcome kit went above and beyond new hire paperwork. It included company swag, a handwritten note from the hiring manager, a welcome letter from the CEO, a coffee gift card, and a staff directory.
To tie the contents of the kit together, the HR team requested a full color 4″ x 6″ card printed on 100 lb. gloss cover that encouraged new hires to reach out with any needs. The image-heavy design showcased custom photography of Armis employees and a work environment that welcomes fresh ideas and diverse perspectives.
